Effect of Dark Anor Londo Like every areas, killing available bosses (Gwyndolin) will stop invasions.
This is why the player should not kill the firekeeper as long as Gwyndolin is alive, because he will be able to warp from this bonfire.

Gwyndolin is vulnerable to physical attacks. This character has several attacks: 1) Conventional arrows – rapid series of few arrows. If you do not block nor avoid them, they can kill you with a single burst.
